The Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) in the Piar Municipality, Bolívar state, categorically rejects any and all the charges of Mayor Gustavo Muñiz, appeared on Wednesday 10/11/2010, at different regional media and local.
accuses us, Mayor Muniz, of being responsible for the manifestations of rejection and public questioning of his government, by militants of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and a large majority of the population of the Municipality of Piar.
For communists, the PSUV is a political organization allied with the ideals that unite us to fight for building a just society that ensures and use it to serve individual citizens the greatest sum of happiness possible, which is referred to as a strategic objective of the Bolivarian Revolution who leads President Hugo Chavez.
We are respectful of the inner life of every political organization and do not interfere in their forms and methods of settling internal differences that may occur at any given time.
assume yes, the public and accusations of government mismanagement of Mayor Gustavo Muñiz, which today are made from the ranks of the PSUV and the people in general, the Communists have been doing more than a year, only now the smoke dissipates, and the brazenness of corruption drops the band from the eyes of an entire people is betrayed their good faith and dashed hopes, expressed more than 18,000 votes in the elections of 26 November 2008.
Communists in the Municipality of Piar We have said and argue that the mismanagement Mayor Gustavo Muñiz, is fraught with many forms of corruption and vices of public affairs management. Nepotism, influence peddling, diversion of items, collection d commissions, misappropriation of funds and material resources, misappropriation, unjust enrichment, lack of ethics, morals and good customs, inefficiency and extra works, are among others, characteristic elements of the disastrous administration of Mayor Muñiz. To illustrate the above points we can cite some of the most significant works of Mayor Gustavo Muñiz, in almost two years in office:

- Delivery of Mother and Child in the National Guard for its headquarters.
- Transformation of a modern landfill for a half-life of 20 years, in an ordinary landfill, and collapsed in less than 2 years for not complying with the management plan recommended by the Ministry of Popular Power for the environment.
- irregular Management of financial resources, human and material Yocoima Foundation and the Mayor of the Municipality of Piar.
- Placement of more than 70,000 tons of asphalt overpriced and poor quality gaps appear again in a few days after placement of the asphalt, causing serious financial damage to Piar Municipality.
- Abandonment of the Mission Barrio Adentro in all its forms.
- Lack of support for the hospital "Gervasio Vera Custodio" Upata, replaced this responsibility by radio marathons.

Finally, categorically reject accusations of Mrs. Elsie Muniz, mother of the Mayor, Councillor and Director of Social Development of the Municipality of Piar Municipality, held on 04, 05, 08 and 09 November this year, in radio, where irresponsibly said that the PCV in the Piar Municipality is allied sectors of the PSUV to give it a coup against his son and we were planning physical death of his son.
The Communists, for excellence, we are deeply fond of peace and privilege the debate of ideas to resolve the political and ideological differences. We do not use physical violence against anyone, unless we have to do it in self defense or in response to violence by the exploiting classes against the exploited.

We call upon the revolutionary unity, the formation of the Frente Amplio's National Patriotic Pole with all political organizations and fronts masses of the revolutionary process who leads President Hugo Chavez.
We call upon relevant organizations, including the Regional and National PSUV to open an investigation into numerous irregularities in the governance of Mayor Gustavo Muñiz.
