BRISA :
BR IGAD I NTERNATIONAL
OF SOLIDARITY S A CTIV
Ilich CARLOS
This Friday April 15, 2011 it was 16 years and 8 months of the KIDNAPPING of "Carlos" by the French State (place in Sudan on August 15, 1994). Moreover met 2 ½ months of brutal aggression of which was the subject "Carlos" at the hands of a command of the Presidential Guard of French President Nicolas Sarkozy - occurred on 1 February 2011 in prison in Poissy - but so far the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry has expressed its views before the French government, the Venezuelan public, the family of "Carlos", or its own "Carlos", condemning the violation of human rights of our distinguished international fighter.
We demand the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry statement on strong these events and actions that should lend support to "Carlos" in France, we call the s @ s Venezuelans are internationalist revolutionaries to join us every day, compared to the Yellow House in the Plaza Bolivar in Caracas to draw Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro care and Ombudsman Gabriela Ramírez the condition of a Venezuelan International mistreated in prison for "France."
REPATRIATION FOR CARLOS!
On 1 February 2011, a platoon of the Republican Guard French President Nicolas Sarkozy went to prison in Poissy, located 60 km from Paris to move to "Carlos" to a court in the city. He was forced to strip for review, used to replace only his underwear. They tried to make him kneel - to which he refused to be humiliating and degrading treatment - he was subjected to insults and threats and, once he was handcuffed with their hands behind, punched him in the back and hit her head repeatedly against a wall. Under these conditions was put in a metal box inside a van to take him to court and exposed to temperatures below 0 º C. "Carlos" was presented naked to the court, proceeding to dress Edmond Brunaud before the judge and defense lawyers. There is written evidence of physical abuse reflected in the wrist (caused by the handcuffs tightened too much out), head and back of "Carlos", issued by the Prison Medical Poissy.
After two and a half months of this aggression, and the Embassy of Venezuela in France, nor the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Relations (MPPRE) have taken action against the French government, both claim the abuse, and to assist the attacked. Ambassador Jesus Arnaldo Perez, head of our embassy in Paris has kept silent about what happened, denying even any humanitarian aid to "Carlos", to the extent that his lawyer, Dr. Isabelle Coutant, should send a fax to Ambassador Perez, making him responsible for the state of destitution in which they found "Carlos" by not even have to buy their food resources in jail. The Minister Nicolas Maduro has not publicly issued any statement regarding the alleged abuse, nor have we known for convening the Ambassador of France in Venezuela to require an explanation for such treatment to a Venezuelan citizen under the jurisdiction of the French state.
The coming November has been announced for a new trial against "Carlos" in Paris, a process that is dealing without respecting their right to due process and self-defense. The aggression against "Carlos" of last February is a clear provocation, while an example of abuse of power by the French authorities, which predicts their inevitable conviction in that trial, before the passive eyes of the Venezuelan authorities.
